Art Pictures Studio is a major Russian film-making company that operates both in the domestic and international market. Founded by Fedor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Rudovsky, the studio is part of the Art Pictures Group. Art Pictures Studio's productions include: Fedor Bondarchuk's Stalingrad, an unrivaled box office success in Russia; Roman Prygunov's Soulless (Dukhless); Dunya Smirnova's Two Days (Dva Dnya); Rezo Gigineishvili's Heat (Zhara); The 9th Company (9 Rota), which became Fedor Bondarchuk's debut as a director; and many more. Art Pictures Studio’s releases in 2015: Battalion, a war drama set in WWI; Soulless-2, a sequel to Soulless; Heart of the Warrior (Sertsa Voina) animated film; comedies – Bartender (Barmen), Hunting The Groom (Srochno Viydu Zamuzh) – as well as the Warrior (Voin) sports drama.   • Art Pictures launches its own film-making business. Together with the Non-stop Production and Slovo studios, it produces the In Motion film, directed by Filipp Yankovsky Presently, the film wins an award at the Kinotavr Festival.
  • Fedor Bondarchuk debuts as a director with The 9th Company. The film tops the Russian box office, drawing as many as one million viewers.
  • The company receives the status of an independent film-making entity and is rebranded into Art Pictures Studio. Fedor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Rudovsky become the new company's subscribers.
  • Art Pictures Studio releases its first independent film-making venture – Rezo Gigineishvili's The Heat (Zhara). This low-budget teen comedy ends up grossing 16.5 million dollars, which makes it the greatest commercial success of the year.
  • Art Pictures Studio launches an ambitious big-budget project – Fedor Bondarchuk's The Inhabited Island, based on a novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky, which is known in English as Prisoners of Power. The project comprises two full-length feature films: The Inhabited Island. Film One, and The Inhabited Island. Skirmish.
  • Fedor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Rudovsky open the Art Pictures Media Distribution Company, which is tasked with distributing Art Pictures Studio films, alongside with productions by independent Western companies, both in theaters and on television and DVD.
  • Oleg Assadulin releases his psychological thriller, Phobos: Horror Club. The film hits theaters in Russia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia at the same time, earning the title of the best Russian horror movie of 2010 at the First Annual Russian Horror Award Ceremony.
  • Art Pictures Studio joins forces with the Central Partnership film distribution and production company; together, they work on Two Days, a romantic comedy directed by Avdotya Dunya Smirnova. Both of the film's leads – Fedor Bondarchuk and Kseniya Rappoport – are honored with the Golden Eagle Award as the Best Leading Actor and the Best Leading Actress respectively.
  • Art Pictures Studio and the Kinoslovo company release a joint project – Roman Prygunov's Soulless, based on Sergey Minaev's best-selling novel of the same name. For playing the part of the film's protagonist, Danila Kozlovsky receives the Golden Eagle Award in the Best Leading Actor category.
  • The Art Pictures Group is joined by the Art Pictures Vision company, which specializes in direct-to-TV films and television series.
  • Art Pictures Studio presents Fedor Bondarchuk's war drama Stalingrad, the first IMAX 3D film produced in Russia. The film instantly becomes an absolute box office success in Russia, and an international hit as well, grossing over 68 million dollars in China, the USA, Great Britain, and France.
  • Art Pictures Studio and the VVP Alliance Company present Valeriya Gai Germanika's Yes and Yes film at the 36th Moscow International Film Festival. The film wins the Silver Saint George Best Director Award, along with the FIPRESCI Award and a special prize from the Kommersant newspaper.
  • Premiere of war drama "Battalion" In February. Film about a unique women's battalion, formed in Russia in 1918. The film "Batallion" (co-production film companies Corner Work and Art Pictures Studio) was the first picture of Russian cinematography about the First World War.
  • Premiere of the sequel "Soulless 2" in 5th, March with Danila Kozlovsky in the title role. Sequel tells the story of Max Andreev returning in Moscow after 3 years downshifting in Bali.
  • Censored version of arthouse drama "Yes and Yes" by Valeriya Gai Germanica released in March.
  • Sports drama "Warrior" was released in October. The film narrates about two brothers, MMA fighters. Starring Fedor Bondarchuk, Sergei Bondarchuk, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Vladimir Yaglych.
  • Animation film "Savva.Heart of the Warrior" was released in November. Distributiton rights were sold for 50 countries. Roles sounded by Hollywood stars Whoopi Goldberg, Sharon Stone and Mila Jovovich.
  • Comedy "Must get married ASAP" was released in December, 31 starring Julia Kovalchuk and Alexey Chumakov.
